I think that the book we are reading is more of a 8Th grade type of book because of the way it's wrote. I'm into it a little bit but not that much I dont like the way the author writes because he gets into a lot of details more than needed.

Plans

My plans for next year are to be way more responsible for all the stuff I have to take care of specially now that I'm going to be a daddy. I'm really happy for that and I'm very grateful about everything and I'm thankful for my family. When I first heard that I'm going to be a father I was kinda scared a little, but then after a while I couldn't stop thinking about and kinda liked that feeling about me having a baby. When I found out what the baby was going to be it made me feel really good knowing that he was a boy. I think that was the happiest day of my life.

One of my favorite shows is UFC ultimate fighting champions because it is exiting to watch and people get knocked out cold. It entertaines me if im boared and to see this is badd in a good way.

The absolutely true story of a part time Indian

I really don't know why the book is called what it is maybe it's because the author wanted to be what its called. The author thinks very different you can tell by the way he talks through his books. Maybe it's called like that because it might have something to do with him being Indian. An Indian kid living in the reservation with all the rest of his Indian tribes. I think he called the book what is is because of how his childhood was as a youngster.

Talking about the books main character

Junior was born with brain damage and he also had a stuttering problem. Once in a while he had seizures and everyone made fun of him all the time. Junior wears glasses, hes a goofy kid, buys his cloths from k-mart, acts really nerdy,draws pics all the time. I dont know if he had many friends, the boy is kinda wierd.

Impression of book were reading

I liked the book because the author explains pretty much everything that he was going through when he was younger. What I didn't like about the author is how he writes and talks about every little detail, I also didn't like his sense of humor cuase I didn't get it. The book is good even though it's a fictional story.

Life obstackle

The biggest obstacle in my life today is for the reason that my father had to get locked up. It still bugs me a lot and because of that I started to get more rebellious and getting arrested myself. Icouldn't handle my problems on my own so I started smoking cigarettes, marijuana, and drinking beer too on the daily basis. It's not a good habit to have or to be going through because for the longest time I really couldn't stop any of them. Now today I dont smoke or drink at all and I feel really healthy. I've been taking care of any problems that I have. And I'm also finishing up all my probation stuff as well.

Life story

My life has been changing allot throughout the past five years and it all happened really fast. One thing is that I'm about to be a young father next year and I'm really happy about that, I want to be able to do everything that I can for my child when she/he is born. Another thing about my life is that I love my family so much because they have always been there for me through up's and down's. I'm a laid back type dude and always stay humble.

Why is poetry wrote

People write poetry because that's a way to express yourself how you really feel about things and also because you can show a special girl how you feel about her. Other people do it because they write rhymes or they write music, but it still has something to do with poetry. I don't write poetry but I do write rhymes to go with my rap songs that I'm working on. I want to start writing poetry because I have allot to write but I don't know how I would get started with it.

Family get together

I really like it when all my family gets together like in Christmas or New Years, its kind of good to see everyone united again because it doesn't happen often in mine but when it does, it does. To see everybody happy and having a good time it makes me feel grateful for having my family. It sucks because my dad hasn't been around for long time but I can't do anything about that so all I do is wish he was, I learned to try and not let it bother me much.

Emergency situation

My emergency situation was when my mom got sick really bad and we had to rush to the hospital. She was in a lot of pain from her head hurting like crazy, her bones were the ones that hurt the most and she wasn't able to get up at all. I don't remember what it was she had but it wasn't serious like life and death, she just wasn't being healthy enough. I saw how she was really stressed out, hurting, feeling a little depressed, her blood pressure was low too. I wouldn't want to see my mom like that again because it didn't feel good watching her sick but I couldn't do anything but wait and see until she got well. I love my mom a lot.

place I dont want to go again

I wouldn't want to go back to County jail again because it is a waste of time and it was boring. Even though I only been there twice, not for a long time but when your in there time goes by really slow. All I need to do is get of probation and then I wont have to worry no more about going back to jail, because once I'm of I'm not gonna be getting into trouble no more.

Place I call my home

The only place I consider my home is my home because there is no other place like being home. When im long gone way from my kingdom i miss it every minute like crazy.

September 11th

What I remember about September 11Th is that I was barely getting ready to go to school. My mom, my sister, uncle and cousins and I were all watching the news and we were all shocked to see what we were looking at. Even though my mom didn't want us kids to go to school we still did any ways because we didn't want to miss school. I also remember that every one was talking about it for the longest time thinking that we were all going to die because of those damn terrorists.

Place I would like to go

I would like to go back to Mexico because it is a real good place where you can go for a fun vacation. To get there it would take a while but its worth it when your there especially if you're with your family.

perfect day for me

The perfect day for me will be when my dad gets out of prison so my family and I can be together once again. We have been separated for about five and a half years. It's been really hard for me growing up without a dad ever since I was 13, almost 14. I struggled a lot but I don't like to show when I'm having problems. I handle them on my own and take care of so many more. When my father is out all I want to do with my family is hangout together and have a real good time, the way it used to be.

Embarrasing moment

The most embarrassing moment for me has to be when my friends tricked me into stepping into crap in front of a lot of people. I was wearing a pair of brand new sneakers. My fresh jordans had poop all over them that kinda sucked. Their was girls present there and thats what made it even more embarrassing but all I could was just laugh with them. That was a real good prank.

Addiction

I'm going to be talking about drugs and alcohol because I can relate to it, for being in that same situation where I couldn't stop smoking marijuana and cigarettes. Now I'm glad that I stopped smoking and drinking. Some of my family members were having addiction problems also. My dad was a drinker and he was having problems with that too. I have been trying to help and tell my mom to stop smoking cigarettes but I don't know why she can't do it. Maybe it's because she's been smoking them for almost twenty years now. I know it's hard but I thought about my health and I really don't want to die from cancer so that's why I decided to stop smoking and hopefully my mom can stop also.

Why school is important

Why school is important to me is because I'm trying to finish so I can be one of the first ones to graduate or at least just get my g.e.d. in my family, because I don't want anyone to say that I never did anything good in my life. Even though its taking me a little longer to do it I know I can complete it. Another reason is because I want to have a better future for me and for my child that's soon to be born.

dedication

To me dedication is for some one to do something they really want to do and put a lot of effort into whatever it is that they're doing. Like me I'm dedicated in getting my probation things done so then I wont have to worry about me getting into more trouble at all.

Favorite type of food

My favorite type of food is Mexican tacos from the taco truck. You can find a truck somewhere out in the street corner for about a buck a piece. I like them with everything, onions, cilantro, hot sauce, lemon and salt, wait for it, with a soda to go with them bomb diggity tacos. Sometimes my mom makes me homemade style type tacos and hers don't come out the same but they also taste hella good.

If I could have any job in the world I would be an authentic Mexican restaurant owner. That's what I'm trying to to do if I get my degree done. If not I really don't know what I would like to do besides that. Why would I choose to do that job because I been thinking about it for a along time now. My moms and I both talked about it and she said we just need to get rid of our movable taco truck. Hopefully it happens someday. In the meanwhile I could finish my school and then I'll see what happens after that.

My favorite type of music is rap because there's something about the way it's said and how it bumps hella loud. What I like about is that it's good to hear and rap music tells it how it is and rap has influenced me into writing rhymes in my rap book.

Things I like and don't like about Salem

I lived in Salem for about almost 10 years now and so far I like it here it's a good place to live. I'm like the tropical people I like to stay warm not be cold but I'm getting used to it. Then theres these thing I don't like and one of them is the police and how some people act shy sty toards me and others just a bunch of hating ametures talking behind my back but I don't let it get me down.

Standing up for your relatives and friends

I think it is a good thing to stand up for your friends and family, because then your peers will see how much love you really have for them. I don't think that anyone should let others talk about one of their relatives or friends and not say anything back to them, especially not in front of you. If they ever said something about my family or friends I would automatically have to say something back or I'm probably gonna end up fighting them. That's how I see it but it'll be better if no one said anything at all.

Why people write poetry and music

I think people write poetry because thats a way that they exprees themselves, and they want other people to see it. Other people write music; that's another way people also express themselves, so they can hear it through songs.

spring beak

During spring break I didn't do much, stayed home for most of it. whenever I went some where it was to play some ball, to the store or just hang out with some homies. I watched a lot of t.v. , cartoons, movies, shows and I also played my ps2, talked on th phone too. My cousin also came over from Portland to visit for like 5 days. It was kinda of an alright week without school thats all folks.

One of my favorite movies is SCARFACE with Al Pacino playing as Tony Montana. He is a political refugee from Cuba that comes to America so he can live his dream. What he did to make his money was risky but still he kept doing it until he was murdered. He became one of the biggest kingpin with a lot of money, power and respect. This is a great movie for people who like action drama-type of movies.

Definition Of Freedom

My definition of freedom would be for somebody to be able to do whatever they want when ever. Right now I cant really do what I want beacause im on probation. I have to listen to my p.o. or else ill get locked up but when I wasnt on pro I was able to do what I wanted. If you're not free to do what you want then what's the point of freedom.

One sunny day a pedestrian was walking down the street to go see his psychologist and crossed through the walk he didn't look both ways and he almost got hit by a car but the driver hit the pedal and stopped just on time.

The last time that I been really mad was when I was getting arrested a while ago its not even cool at all especially when you got handcuffs on you all I could think was how much I hate the police thats all that was going through my mind at the moment. I was even more mad when I got to the detention place cause I really didnt want to be there at all, then I flipped out on the staff that worked there cause I thought they wern't being fare at all with me.


I coulod of avoided doing that but I was being hardheaded the whole time and I wasnt listening because I didnt care at all why should if they didnt care for me thats just how I felt being there.All I had to do was not talk back at all and listen to what they were trying to tell me and follow there directions, and nothing that accured should of happened at all.

If I was in coles place what I think would be fare is that if I were to be sent to the island because atleast there would be people to talk to there and I wouldnt be boared out of my mind while I do what I have to do there. Over my long, cold winter break with the snow storm I had a pretty good time after all. I stayed home most of the time with my family. I also talked to some relatives on the phone that dont live here in america, a few relatives also stopped by my house. I had a good christmas and a very good new years, i got to talk to my dad that was good
